Ricardo Carvalho is a brazilian Designer focused on branding and visual identity for Sports, Entertainment and Tourism brands with more than 8 years of experience as a creative director. His knowledge in Design, Branding, Typography and Architecture has helped the development of communications and marketing projects in South America and Europe. Currently works as a Branding Consultant and as a Designer at Octagon Sports, a global sports and entertainment content marketing arm of the Interpublic Group of Companies.
Ricardo Carvalho is a Creative Director focused on branding and visual identity for Sports and Entertainment with more than 8 years of experience. His works for sports brands has achieved numerous mentions from major design and sports websites, including BrandNew and FoxSports. He holds a design bachelor's degree from Mackenzie University and a MBA in Branding from Faculdades Rio Branco in São Paulo. For more than 2 years his expertise in branding has helped Gad’, a lead brand consultancy based in Brazil, to create strategic projects for Latin America clients and also 3 years working with Corporate Communications and Branding for Evonik Industries and Borussia Dortmund for Brazil and South America. His experience includes: Communications, Marketing and advanced knowledge in Design, Branding, Typography and Architecture. He was the author of the first brand proposal to Copa Libertadores da América and to Sport Club Internacional, which were under the spotlight of websites, such as Globo Esporte, Fox Sports, Esporte Interativo, MKTEsportivo, BrandNew, LogoBR, DesignCulture, among others. As a lecturer, he has shared his ideas during the 1st Symposium of the Associação Portuguesa de Desportos, a traditional football club from São Paulo, where he presented a proposal to strenght the club’s brand. At FEA-USP, Ricardo presented Libertadores and his ideas about Sport Brands. Some of his clients are: Evonik and Borussia Dortmund, Nike, NBA, Porto Alegre Pumpkins, Çanakkale Dardanelspor, 3M, Samsung, Walt Disney, Kimberly-Clark, Red Bull and Natura. He currently works as consultant in sports and entertainment branding for projects in South America and Europe and as designer at Octagon Sports, a global sports and entertainment content marketing arm of the Interpublic Group of Companies.
